Live local, Code global

Level 6, 341 George St (Atlassian)

There's no place like 127.0.0.1

But there's also no place like 0:0:0:0:0:0:0:1
Or at least there will be.

127.0.0.1 feels like home to many of us, using IPv4 since last century. But there's more out there. A whole world out there. And it's even bigger than IPv6.

What's it like coding in Australia and working on a codebase that's used the world over? Does it mean your code is different? How does a world-wide team change your code for the World Wide Web?

Some of Australia's most influential technology companies will be showing us what it's like to live local, code global
